I did the same thing when I first heard that was how they were distributing series 2 blacks.
That makes the third product I’ve boycotted for lame distribution methods, and the second from 09 Topps.
The others were the Topps base set variations (that are super short printed already and then bunches of them are piled into single blasters) and the 08/09 O-Pee-Chee hockey Update set that was sold in packs of five cards, two of which are the Metal (Chrome) parallels and another retro parallel card. Two actual cards per pack! Forget it.

Although not household names, long-time collectors like myself and loving the fact that we can get our hands on hard-signed autos of long retired players. The design may be a tad boring but the selection of players is quite interesting. The moustaches and hair styles are worth at least a few packs.

One of my all-time favorite sets. Clean design, fairly good photography. Now the 1995 set was obviously LSD induced.

Three thoughts:

1) it takes guts to dance like Mark Mothersbaugh does in this video
2) the faux 3-D makes my head hurt
3) I wouldn’t have thought he’d have much of a career doing music for children’s animated TV programs, but that just goes to show what I know.
