One word review: 2011 Topps

4 02 2011

Underwhelmed.

Granted, I’ve only opened one pack (Aaron Hill was the first non blogged card I’ve seen), but I have to say that 2011 Topps so far feels like a girlfriend that you want to break up with but you are so comfortable in the relationship and there’s really nothing else out there so you may as well stay with her for a little bit longer.  I hope that’s not offensive to anyone, either.  I’m not sure why it would be, but I get that uneasy feeling it will be somewhere.

And not to sound blasphemous, but I actually like the Topps 60 inserts.

More when I open more.  Right now it’s a busy day of house cleaning instead.
