These cards are Red Hot, but maybe I should stop?

24 02 2011

In classic efficiency, my three Red Hot Rookies arrived the other day in three separate envelopes. I’m thinking about chasing down the set.

I was surprised to see that these things sell for next to nothing on eBay.  Most of them can be had for just a buck, if so inclined, with the exception of that one pitcher from the Nationals.  His is around the nine dollar range.

If I did try and complete the set, I’m afraid these things are destined to sit on my wantlist forever, much like the WBC inserts and Trading Card History cards from 2008 Topps.

Of course, if some one offered me a Cincinnati Red Hot Rookie for one of them, that might help me make up my mind…
