Go away, LA

One of these years the Reds will learn how to beat these guys.  Until then, thank goodness it’s time for Matt Kemp, Andre Either and the rest of that team to get out of Cincinnati. Kemp hit three home runs over the last two days, including a game tying grand slam yesterday.  Either threw Jay Bruce out at the plate in that game when the Reds had a modest lead.  Bruce would have scored on the next hit if he hadn’t been sent.

All three games were exciting even if the scores would suggest otherwise.  The Reds brought the tying run to the plate in their last at bat in both losses and simply could not score.  I think the Reds were 1-14 with runners in scoring position today.  You aren’t going to win with a number like that.

It was a good series. Kemp is in beast mode right now. The Dodgers and Reds play agin really soon so, we’ll see what happens. Viva Los Doyers!
